few days ago we spoke with Marc about why we had better relations with all Chilean who arrived in these parts of the world. I must admit that we are not going to all Chileans have many friends here and in Chile even more, but unfortunately in Germany do better friends with other Latin Americans. And we conclude, Marce and me, what bothers us is mainly some Chileans PRIDE, unfortunately that is closely linked to socioeconomic status (not always! But most of the time ...), so the higher the level is no greater arrogance. We find it difficult to understand why some Chileans, the importance as a human being is directly related to your socioeconomic status. Especially this feeling is more powerful when in Germany while people with a lot of money with little or behave the same, only difference the type of clothes or perhaps the brand of car they drive.
Anyway, I think we need to grow much as a society, particularly with regard to humility, and to see the rest of human beings as brothers, without falling into nonsense to classify them as "the same level." Unfortunately our excessive individualism increasingly distancing us from that goal.
